Called the I-Theater, it allows you to watch videos with 2 high resolution TFT QVGA displays up to 230K pixels. In addition to that, the 2 in-built earphones feature stereo sound quality. A one of a kind mobile entertainment unit, watching it will be the equivalent of viewing a 50″ big screen.

The price of the I-Theater is $239.99… not bad, considering real 50″ televisions costs close to $2000 or more. However, it does make one look little silly wearing it. To be used in a secluded area and in your own room only.

The Starglas Rear Projection TV is based on a screen lamination layer between two pieces of glass, which means it’s basically a window that has a television in the middle.

With the rumored extinction of Compact Discs through the competition posed by MP3 players and other media sources, it’s no wonder why CD player manufacturers are starting to find new ways to make CDs and CD players more unique. YankoDesign has discovered one way to stir up consumers interest with the Square CD.

Designed in Italy, the Square CD is a touchscreen controlled CD player that is made to incorporate into the design of your house, acting as part of the decor. It blends in with your house design with its unique Corian surface (normally suited to kitchen counter tops), giving it a nice simplistic touch. When turned on, you are welcomed with a beautiful glowing screened play, stop and eject buttons.

The Square CD is not released as yet, but is rumored to cost well over $1,000 mark.

Apple TV seemed to have taken a back seat because of all the hype that surrounded the launch of the iPhone so heavily reported by the media.

This product is seen as a conduit between the computer and the TV, which will give the viewer a whole new range of TV viewing entertainment. The box is like an advanced DVD player which will enable the playing of music, movies, pod casts and photos. In fact, everything that you associate with the iPod and now the iPhone can be effortlessly played on your TV via a wireless connection.

With a 40 GB hard drive, the Apple TV unit can store up to 50 hours of video, 25,000 photographs, 9,000 songs or any combination of each. The Apple TV can link up to five computers and has a remote control that is supposed to work from 30 feet away.

The unit requires HD television, will cost around $299 and should be available to purchase in February.
