The worlds most exciting computer manufacturer has come up with the latest addition to their range. This time Alienware has on offer the ultimate game players machine, and it would have to be with the price tag of $5,129.

The Area 51 7500 is powered by an Intel quad core 2, extreme processor which is combined with a nVidia Geforce 8800 graphics card. This machine has a lot of power available to the user, whatever the purpose the computer is being used for, so although these machines are often regarded as gamers machines, they are a very powerful addition to any business particular those involved within the media sectors.

The Area 51 7500 comes with a storage capacity of 550 GB, RAM of 2048 MB and the primary optical drive is a Dual Layer DVD+/-RW, put together in a package that works well, even if it is on the rather expensive side.
These machines have a reputation of being loud or noisy while running and should you be consider purchasing this machine, don’t forget to buy a new monitor and some speakers as despite the hefty price tag they do are not included.

… you sleep next to your game machine that happens to look like an arcade machine.

…your gaming computer looks like a cockpit of a Star Wars X-Wing fighter.

… you have 12 monitors, a sub woofer and a strapped on joystick to play Flight Simulator.

… your dining room, lounge, garbage disposal and gaming room are all within striking distance of each other.

Do you have Bluetooth on your Mac? If so, you can use the open sourced software DarwiinRemote to make a Wiimote control your applications like a mouse.
The DarwiinRemote software will sync up the Wiimote and your Mac, read data to and from your Wiimote, and translate it into mouse movements on the computer. The software will also monitor the intensity of acceleration, button movements, sensor bar, LEDs with the help of an interface display graph.
What a good idea, could this usher in an age of computer peripherals that won’t require a desk?

In August manufacturer, The Ant Commandos, sued Activision and RedOctane for the controller on the PS2 game, Guitar Hero, which bears close resemblance to Konami’s arcade game, Guitar Freaks.

The once-adored Xbox 360 has taken a back seat to the latest releases in game systems by Sony and Nintendo, but Microsoft is bringing itself back in to the news by extending its warranty on all Xbox 360 systems, including those which have already been purchased (and sometimes even repaired). The warranty extension (from 90 days to one full year) is not only a means of putting the company’s game system back in the spotlight but also may be a way for the company to efficiently deal with problems resulting from the fact that flaws in the system have been reported by consumers.
The company may be doing all that it can to keep Xbox 360 alive until a new Microsoft game system release can make a bigger splash, but is it enough to compete with the currently popular PS3 and Nintendo Wii? After all, both of these systems already came with the one year warranty in place.
