Diarised is a free online tool that helps you schedule meetings, suggest dates and as a result, the best dates are calculated based on the responses of the meeting attendees. An email confirmation will then be sent off automatically to all parties.

They use a simple 5 step process of scheduling a meeting and being more productive:

1. Enter the details of your proposed meeting into Diarised, including the meeting invitees and the possible times and dates for the meeting.
2. Diarised sends out emails to all invitees.
3. The invitees choose the times that suit them best.
4. Once the invitees have chosen their preferred meeting dates, Diarised will give you a summary of the best dates for you to choose from.
5. All meeting invitees will be sent an email confirming the chosen date and time

One drawback on this site is the meetings are scheduled on a one off basis i.e. since there is no account setup or logins. It would be useful if they could provide more of the following features i.e. the ability to save previously scheduled meetings, an area for attendees to write quick notes back to one another, the ability to do easy rescheduling, adding address books, ability to add attachments or/ and resend the meeting alert out. This could easily be created by having the meeting coordinator create a profile and linking all those features to his/ her profile.

I would also suggest making the scheduled meetings page a secured one. If I was the user, I will feel much safer that the information I am transmitting does not land in the wrong hands. It seems (from their blog) that this site is a work in progress as it should be - the possibilities to this tool are endless.
