Linutop offers you a portable diskless computer system almost the size of your palm. Running Linux, its main purpose is to surf the web and can also be used as a public information display, PoS terminal and embedded PC in vehicles. Packaged with a Word Processor, PDF Reader, an Instant messenger, web browser and a media player, it may easily satisfy the everyday light user.
This could very well be a hit but it’ll all depend on one thing - the price (as of date, the price/ retail distribution details have yet to be published). With full sized laptops already dipping below the $500 price tag, this computer may have to be priced very much lower than that to stay competitive.

1Price i high.
But you have to keep in mind that price is always a inverse function of size, noise, power consumption…
I admit it is also a direct function of computational power.
