HireVue takes interviewing to the next level. Deemed “the new way to interview”, HireVue allows companies and recruiters to record and capture video interviews.
This process is simple 1) build a virtual job interview with actual questions 2) candidates from anywhere in the world can take the interview at any time 3) you and your colleagues can easily login to watch, comment and evaluate the candidate.
What it means to you is that there is no wasted time, scheduling issues and costs can be minimized. Think about it like the “TiVo” of job interviews. Interviews can be carried out anywhere and at anytime with standardization/ consistency, and you would be able to pick from a mix of candidates.
HireVue is currently offered in 3 forms:
- HireVue On-Site - Great for local hiring and/or recruiting trips!
Clients have HireVue webcams on-site or with them to have candidates come into the company’s offices and take their HireVue at a webcam enabled computer.
- HireVue Campus Network - For your campus recruiting
At a college program or career center, a company can design, post a request for interviews and candidates can then take the HireVue immediately rather scheduling a formal interview.
- HireVue Off-Site - For the out of town candidate around the world!
You, the client, adds the candidate to your HireVue, HireVue sends a HireVue Webcam to the candidate and they take their HireVue from their home or wherever suitable facilities exist. They will contact the candidate by email and phone to help manage setup - even if that means finding a place for them to take their HireVue, and answer any questions they may have.
With the automated process, the web based application allows you to see and critique an unrehearsed recorded video interview, leaving you to worry about the most important objective — hiring the right person.
