Designer Jinseup Shin has designed the Plug and Enjoy speaker system, a small electronic device that fits into your power outlet and receives an FM signal from your portable music player. It is basically compatible with an iPod, cell phone, cd player or any device equipped with an FM transmitter.

Using it is simple: plug it into your outlet, turn the front to locate the signal, and adjust the volume once the signal is received.

Seems like it is just a prototype right now but certainly a handy gadget to have around. Plug your speakers around the room and you’ll have surround sound speakers without the bulk and expensive cost.
